Either Word or WordPerfect (which can do it more elegantly) can handle this.

Since this is a 4 page 11x17, there are several ways to approach it.

I am going to assume that your printer does not have duplexing (double sided printing). You can make your document into to (Page 1 and 4 on one, Page 2 and 3 on the other).

Make sure your print properties are set for 11"x17" landscape.

At this point, you can either use the pamphlet setting (Word hides some important settings under margins), or even set up a table with two columns, one representing each page, with a suitable gutter for the fold.

Whatever you do, DON'T use the execrable Microsoft Publisher, which traps your work in a proprietary format that printers hate.

You could also print to Acrobat from Word, and go to print setup to go to the 11x17.

Publisher is only difficult for commercial printers to use. But Pharmboy is going to save money by printing it at home and Publisher works great for that. In addition to the newsletter I printed, I also produced a weekly half page newspaper ad with publisher (converted to pdf). It is a very versitile program, I even use it to create graphics for video editing.
