Your explanation makes sense to me.
I can't believe the poll numbers, but in the context you described, I could believe that if some people are that 'precise' they could say that 'No, its not rape' (... but it is a similarly heinous and illegal crime - its just not their definition of the word 'rape').
They probably should have just asked if it is 'wrong'.

"Your explanation makes sense to me." Fair enough. Keep in mind English is not my primary language. I want to know what Hebrew word they used. Is it "אוס ? There are difference "kinds" of forcible, non-consensual sexual intercourse, and one is not the other (although they are all bad). It's like murder is not rape; no, it's murder.
