I live in a small town and had a red tail sitting on the fence outside the dining room window week before last. Good close up view as he was looking into the neighbor’s yard and had his back to me. I have seen him fly over form time to tme but never seen on land.
We have a barn owl that hangs around too.
We were all admiring a cardinal that was on the fence(tell me if you have heard this story before).
Well anyway all at once all we see is a blur and red feathers floating down.
