I don’t doubt that when you go speak to colleges and universities around the country that you have your fair share of Palin detractors. But to say that all young, college age people object strongly to her presidency isn’t true. I have friends who go to Notre Dame who are Palin supporters, I have a buddy out at The University of Iowa who was the former head of the College Republicans who is thinking of campaigning for her. I know people at The University of Illinois who are Palin supporters.

Of course there are people who don’t like her and I understand that, but you are painting a picture that there are 0 supporters out there for her in the millenial generation. This is not the case I would say from my experience that it is a more divided camp, and it’s still very early there’s no reason why she can’t win over some of those students.

Don't put words in my mouth. I didn't say they "objected to her presidency," nor did I say they were "detractors." I said there wasn't any enthusiasm for her---certainly not like you see here on FR, and it's striking.

Sure she can win them over. They are conservatives. But that's the point. WHY SHOULD SHE HAVE TO "WIN OVER" CONSERVATIVE KIDS? WHY DON'T THEY AUTOMATICALLY GRAVITATE TO HER?
