It’s creepy to see the far reach of these type of crimes. Even an actress from a Harry Potter movie is affected, not just people in the slums in a faraway third world country.
That’s exactly what I thought also. Here she is, well known, I assume with a touch of cash, and yet she is prisoner in her parent’s house to this medieval religion, being forced into marraige.
I’m so glad she’s alive, but I wonder if the MSM could have hushed it the way the did if she had been killed. And six months for attempted murder? So glad the SIL had the sense to hide the knives. And she is still living with him!
