This kid is like a machine. Kaymer was the best player in 2010. He blew the field away this weekend at the Abu Dhabi Championship with a world class field. McIlroy went eagle-birdie on the last two holes and still could not catch him or even get close.

I think Phil may still have it at The Masters because he is a maestro there but this kid is amazing.

Never heard of Mr. Kaymer. Sounds like a fine talent.

A nice young man who is very respectful. No club throwing, swearing, porn star bimbos or alleged steroid use like you know who.

Lots of great young talent especially in Europe. I was reading on a golf web site. They asked Kaymer how he did this weekend. He said “well I did not have many bogeys.” He had one bogey in 72 holes. This was pretty amazing.

I am going to the AT&T Pebble Beach tourney and noted that Tiger is not playing this year.

Odd.....

This is weird because Tiger sort of owned Pebble Beach. Very strange. His relaunch must not be going well.

I think Phil is a very nice guy but his arthritis is probably not helping him. This German kid is like a machine.

I thought it odd as well as it was one of his favorite tourneys and he has said several times it is his favorite course.

Also remember he posted his lowest score EVER there a few years back.

All in all, it is very odd.

Oh well, I am going to hob knob with the celebs and enjoy some good whiskey and cigars. A good time will be had regardless of his attendance !

Cheers,

Tiger shot an insane score at Pebble that one year.
Beautiful spot with usually great climate if it is a clear day. CA is so pretty that attracted all the lib freaks who wrecked it.

Bill Murray is a pot smoking jerk but he gets the crowd going at Pebble and he is a golf nut. I dumped TV but have been trying to watch Rush on the internet Golf Channel. I bet Rush will be there.

Ray Romano may be there. He took lessons from Hank Haney on the GC. He is pretty good and was going to break 80. Ray swore at one point which turned me off because he seems like a nice guy.

Rocky versus the machine? funny you should mention that.

Enter the Italian Stallion.
Well we may have to wait a year for the “Rocky” to beat Martin Kaymer.

Matteo Mannassero. He made the cut at The British Open when he had just turned 16. Made the cut at The Masters at age 16 (never been done before).

He is 17 now and has already won his first tournament. He is 9 years younger than Kaymer.

You watch the kid play and he looks like a 30+ year old champion. Kaymer and Matteo will have some great battles plus young Rory McIlroy.

Tiger had an epic roid rage after a tee shot on the back nine. I'm pleased that the club throwing was caught on tape. I do wish they had a close up of the club after the event.

Looks like he is back to his old nutritional ways again (Galea may be hanging around the compound). They may not help him this year no matter how desperate the PGA is for a Tiger headline. He is simply not as steady with the short game and his body is not holding up as well. The Bonds horsemeat diet will catch up to you eventually
