The Plainfield North High School physical education teacher accused of having sex with a student pleaded not guilty this morning in a Will County courtroom.
Ashley M. Blumenshine, 27, of Lisle appeared in court this morning with her attorney, George Lenard, where she pleaded not guilty to one count of aggravated sexual abuse.
Blumenshine, who wore a long pink coat and black slacks, said nothing but stood by her attorney before Will County Judge Richard Schoenstedt.
Her next court date is March 2.
Blumenshine and two adults who came with her to court Wednesday declined comment after the hearing. Lenard also declined comment.
We cant say anything, Lenard said.
Plainfield police found Blumenshine and a 16-year-old male student in a vehicle behind a Kohls store in Plainfield on Jan. 4. Both admitted to having sex, a Will County assistant states attorney said at Blumenshines bond hearing.
They should leave this poor woman alone.
One of these cute “teachers” just recieved probation here in MA for taking off with a 15 year old student.
She was found a week later shacked up with him at some motel in WV.
No charges of kidnapping, plead guilty to statatory rape.
Probation?
If she was ugly or had been a man i would say 15 years in prison.
Her male coworkers look at her thinking, "Hey, where's mine at? I'd meet you behind Kohl's."
