I win!
And oue POTUS was thrilled today in his speech and did not mention mideast peace or Israel or any inkling that we must be careful at who is in power.
I'll look at google too.
Yes
that was a great set of pictures from IIRC University of Cairo.
In the earlier 60’s photo the women were all bare sleeved and no head covering
in the one from last year all the women were scarved and or burqa’s
hmm search of University of cairo.

ah thanks
I posted before I read all posts.
These pics plus the OP are very telling
Would you qualify that statement with a "yet"?
Do you see the next struggle as happening between MB and the military? Or is that too simplistic?
Thanks Ernest. I can’t shake the feeling that we’ve just witnessed a coup and it wasn’t done by the Egyptian military.

“Bush deserves credit for pushing for a freedom-democracy agenda, in these countries, which was shot down. Obama, the Wizard, should have known technology was behind this peoples revolt in Egypt.”
Excellent point. Early on, Obama eliminated funding for democratic movements throughout the ME. This is so the leaders would recognize him as the Twelfth Imam and melt in his hands. Not. The Clintons did the same thing to Afghanistan. It’s lieberals who practice the art of ignoring abuse of women and gays, rampant birth rates, polygamy and blatant violence.

He described the graduating pictures posted above and came to the same conclusions posted here.
Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam And the American Left [Paperback]
****************EXCERPT ********************************
Vastly Illuminating, September 25, 2004>
I had long wondered why people on the Left had the propensity to speak more positively about people who would slit their throats than they do about their own country, which affords them more freedom and opportunity than anywhere else. David Horowitz has answered that question thoroughly and convincingly in his Unholy Alliance. Where I felt bewildered and confused, I now feel crystal clear. Unholy Alliance is such a great book.
It begins with the leftist movements at the beginning of the 20th Century, and works its way up to the present day, exploring the anti-American attitude of these movements in detail. Horowitz shows that the enemies of the US back then are largely the same group today, operating under the same misperceptions, making the same mistakes, and pursuing the same impossible utopia.
Individual chapters are included on the Patriot Act (I was persuaded that it is a GOOD thing); the democratic flip-flop on Iraq once G.W. Bush implemented what they agreed with Clinton needed to be done; the driving components of the current anti-war movement; as well as chapters on individual personalities who are major spokespeople of the Left. Horowitz covers a lot of ground, and he covers it concisely and clearly. Unholy Alliance is richly informative without ever being boring or plodding.
This book is so illuminating that I simply cannot do justice to it here. I love people who reason so clearly that they help me get my own reasoning clear. Horowitz is just that type of person! In the terrain of mindless clichés (no-blood-for-oil, etc.), he is a breath of real fresh air.
There was just a slit for my eyes.
I spent more than an hour in this garb, occasionally snow blowing in the direction of Mecca...
Snow blower Akbar!
Well, we now know who lurks here......
The internal, transliterated name for what we in the West call The Muslim Brotherhood.

Like we called the Mafia, but they called La Costra Nostra, or just LCN.
