That is a great way to make a batch, I’ve not previously thought of making batches. I have been adding 2 tblsp. of trisodium phosphate to each load I run - the results are great! No food particles sticking to dishes and crystal clear glass with no film.

Consensus on a long thread here a couple of weeks ago was to use just a dash - 1/4 teaspoon. That seems to give us just the oomph we needed.
Got a large box of original TSP at Lowe's about three weeks ago....that should be nearly a lifetime supply.

no discoloration of flatware?? i found using strong mixture of TSP for paint jobs to discolor metal pails, etc.
I guess all in the strength.....?! i will experiment with low dose mixtures first.
