Arthur is a classic Studly Moore can’t be replaced nether could sir John Gielgud IMHO
Huh?
Why does Hollywood keep remaking movies that were excellent in their original version?
It isn’t that Arthur was a masterpiece, but it was excellent and fit its niche perfectly. Sir John Gielgud’s “I’ll alert the media” single line will live long after this clearly terrible low-rent remake.
They seem to have replaced Sr John Gielgud with a slightly overweight Hispanic fellow. I think they may have lost something in the translation, so to speak.
It’s gonna flop. The trailer didn’t even get a chuckle out of me. And the trailers usually have the best parts of the fil in them.
I don’t care for Russell Brand He’s the typical liberal comedian who figured out early that bashing conservatives brings easy applause.
Dudley Moore came across as a truly good kind hearted person.
You have to figure they put the best material in the coming attraction which means that this is going to be a nuclear bomb.
This is the same halfwit who begged Americans to vote for Obummer. He can sod off.
Dittos.
OMG! That looks just horrible! Arthur is suppossed to be a “likeable” person....Brand is NOT at all Likeable! Second they have a woman playing bitterman?
I worked for Mr. Moore in the late 70’s he was kind funny and very gracious man
I bet you have some stories to tell.
He is taller in person
Yet another remake.....geez.
I suppose there would be a time that this is funny.. but many beers would be involved. I actually liked Get Him to the Greek.

That is a fabulous picture!
It brought a huge smile to me.
How sad they both died so young — Moore in 2002 at 67 and Gielgud in 2000 at 96 (OK, Sir John had a pretty good run).
