Sorry this article is a load of crap

3G and 4G were generic terms, a descriptive verb that stood for 3th generation and 4th generation technology WiMAX & LTE were/are 4th generation technology

Now because "4G" has become an "brand/standard name" ITU is just now defining what "4G" will mean?

In other words ITU is just now making the descriptive verb 4G the a brand/standard name Noun "4G"?...kind of late in the game getting around to that aren't to get anal and pissy about it?.... Sorry but WiMAX and LTE were 4G before "4G" was a name

O well such is the way of the world of telcom names for things change an drift... router use to be gateways...But "Router" are not...

True post. 4G has become a catch phrase in the Marketing department instead of the Network department.
