Inhofe 1 Global Warming Nuts 0

Global warming alarmists led by Mark Hertsgaard attempted to ambush Senator Inhofe following a hearing this morning. See for yourself who ended up winning the argument.

I’ve always appreciated Inhofe’s consistent and strong stand against the Al Gore-invented sham called global “warming.”

That was amazing. He shut them down. It is also the first time I’ve heard my favorite argument made in public: That is, when they ask us “deniers” “What if you’re wrong?” he threw back, “What if you’re wrong?”

We should only intentionally bankrupt our country and culture to fight against a clear and present danger. And with the cooling that has been going on worldwide, these guys are looking like a bunch of lemmings anyway.

They asked for an apology to be given from him to their children?

These sick fascist greenie little dictators want an apology from those who do not believe the crap they spew?

Senator why dont you increase taxes and regulation 3000 percent? Will you apologize to my children for not raping their freedom?

Get f-ing real.

How Sen. Inohofe remianed calm I have no idea.

Damn it is getting harder and harder to not want to slap one of these people. Unbelievable!

I liked the part where Inhofe told the little ditz "no you don't" when she said she spoke for all the young people of the nation.

Jim Inhofe has given some amazing arguments. He’s a national treasure and overlooked by too many ‘conservatives’. He singlehandedly got rid of the House’s deceptive discharge petition. He’s got guts.

Gawd what a desperate and obviously jobless collection of lefty hangers-on, all grasping their cameras hoping to capture that big gotcha moment.

BTW, to avoid the intended "my experts are better than your experts" debate over the bogus "science is settled claim", ask the shill to have his expert(s) explain how the "settled science" can predict and support both of the clearly contradictory claims of articles collected into "The Warmlist" (below), e.g., "global warming will cause more fog in San Francisco" and "global warming will cause less fog in San Francisco".

That was awesome. I can’t think of any issue on which Sen Inhofe and I disagree. It was hilarious last winter when his grandchildren build the Al Gore Igloo in D.C. I am proud to have voted for him 3 times. Unfortunately, he is 76, and I don’t know if he’ll run again. He still flies his own plane home to Oklahoma as far as I know.

We here in Australia need the good Senator to come out here and have a talk (or a debate!)with Julia Gillard (or should I say Dillard)about her beloved carbon tax and her proposed flood levvy tax.

......Gawd what a desperate and obviously jobless collection of lefty hangers-on...

You're wrong about the desperate and jobless thing. Somebody is paying those greenies, and paying them very well. The Left is very well funded and supported by NGOs, Academia, Media Outlets, Non-Profit foundations ...and by people like Senator Imhofe.

That's right. Some of your Congressional faves hire staffs that are completely left-wing. They hire the same staffers who have hung around DC for years and work on every committee, in every office. They write the bills that our people don't read. They staff the agencies that enforce the laws the way THEY see fit.

Democrats to a man, they are often the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of people who came to town with FDR, and are permanently employed. For them, the Republicans are an aberration that will soon be gone. They remain, and they await the return of Their friends, the Democrats.

Republicans have NEVER learned to clean house. They have NEVER learned how to staff the government with Republicans. They have never learned to reward the people that got them the job. As a result, government machinery, the bureaucracy, the actual business of government, is the sustaining arm of the Democratic Party and has been for 75 years. It's why they can afford to hang out ... and I and you cannot. And it's one major reason why the Republicans never seem to get anything done smoothly, and have misinformation leaked from their offices.

The Republicans are not called "The Stupid Party" for nothing. They earned it. To unearn it and convince me they mean business, throw the Democrats out of the government and replace them with US.

The first thing I would ask these delusional people is: Why did you change your argument from Global Warming to Climate Change?

The answer, if answered honestly, would be because they lost the argument on Global Warming because it was proven to be fraudulent.

They had to revert to Climate Change because there is no argument against that climate DOES change several times every day everywhere in the world.

But even that position falls apart when they claim that it is caused by mankind.

Interestingly enough, I followed a thread yesterday to this douchebag’s web-site, where he’s agitated to start a campaign to confront every prominent figure who opposes the global warming alarmists, with instructions to his minions that these opponents are to be thought of as “cranks”, not skeptics. Apparently he is the national arbiter of who is to be judged a crank, and who is pursuing the time-honored scientific tradition of questioning conventional wisdom.

Two features in this video are especially instructive:

1) He never introduces a single scientific argument - his whole position is an appeal to authority: not the strongest of rhetorical approaches, but apparently the best he’s got

2) And if anyone needs any further evidence that he’s just a true-believer liberal, his shameless use of his daughter - the totally emotional “let’s do it for the children” approach to policy - is all I need to recognize the intellectual vacuity of his position,

And oh, by the way, he’s got a book coming out - I’m sure the publicity associated with ambushing Inhofe is just a coincidence.

When you think about it, nearly every newspaper article spouting off in favor of "glow-bull warming" uses the same approach. "The science is settled" and "it's for the children" are the two consistent themes that the leftards continue to use, thinking that it will always resonate with the general population.

inhoffe should have said “PROVE that fluctuating temperatures are due to a rise in carbon- show the scientitific link- I do NOT want guestimates, that do nothign but point out coincidences, but actual scientific data showing that rising carbon is directly affecting rising temperatures- then, when you’re done gathering the scientific data, PROVE that fluctuating temperatures ARE NOT due to cyclical trends that happen all the time. Until you can do the two thigns I asked, you have NO case, and are just blwoing hot air and conning people into thinking man has ANY influence whatsoever over the weather- and you shoudl be ashamed of yourself for deceiving mankind and costing htem trillions of dollars- hoping to saddle future generations with debt they caqn NEVER pay off”

Years ago, we were told warmign was causing worldwide draughhts, now that we’ve had a couple of flooding events, we’re told waqrmign causes ‘moisture in the atmosphere, and therefore flooding events aRE going to happen’’

We’ve suppsoedly been ‘warming’ for howl ong now? So, why hasn’t there been flooding EVERY single year if wamring ‘caused more atmospheric moisture’?

Inhoffe, shoudl have also said- “Look kiddies- the world has draughts, you kids blame man- the world has flooding, you blame man, the world sees increased hurricanes, you blame man, the world sees decreased hurricanes, you blasme man, the world sees hotspots aroud the globe, you blame man, the world sees cold spots aroudn the world, you blame man, Egypt erupts into civil unrest, you blame man-caused global wamtring. Is there ANYTHING in your minds that man is not to blame for?” WEhen you can approach me with swcientific evidnece the proves man can influence weather, lemme know, until then, all you have are inuendo and silly speculations based on far reaching coincidences that just make you look uneducated. Now go blame man for somethign else and leave the scienc e to actual scientists and those who un derstand the science.”
