I'm aware this isn't the normal post, but I thought that some folks may want to voice an opinion about the medical fraud going down in these protest areas.. Here is how to file a complaint.

If you agree and want something done about it, go to the Wisconsin Department of Medical Regulations. The instructions are as follow: type “Wisconsin Board of Regulation and Licensing” in google, and go to drl.wi.gov. Click the “complaints” tab on the left, and then click “Instructions for Filing a Complaint.”

Isn’t this the very definition of Mal-practice?

The Doctor has incorrectly diagnosed a healthy man, as a man who is too sick to work?

Seems like a Medical License may be at risk ....

It’s not malprctice, but it is conspiracy to commit fraud-—a felony. That will cost you your license.

Don’t overlook the possibility of filing a complaint that a doctor was conducting a medical “interview” in a public place where you were forced to overhear private patient information being disclosed. And of course you were “offended” and sustained mental anguish yourself as a result.

Theoretically, thousands of people could have been exposed to private medical information as a result of these doctors blatant disregard for patient privacy!

This is bad medicine... no doctor/patient relationship. It’s like calling in a prescription for a friend. Totally unethical.

I would think that only Wisconsin residents or taxpayers have standing in this fight and complaints from others would just be ashcanned.

Disagree. These doctors are fundamentally dishonest. Actually, criminals. As federal taxpayers, we may have funded their educations. And an doctor who would pull these fraudulent political stunts wouldn’t bat an eye at cheating Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance companies.

Well they are licensed by the state which would take primacy in such matters. I doubt the state authorities have much to do with complaints from non-state folks. Nor do I believe they could be forced to deal with them without federal intervention.

However, you might want to contact the US Justice Department or Senators and Representatives and have them look into the matter which seems to boil down to a matter of a type of fraud which is unlikely to be covered by federal law. Financial fraud such as that to which you refer is a different matter and I agree the doctors doing this are almost certainly those most apt to pull other financial frauds.
