Charlie Sheen's radio rant leads CBS to cancel "Two and a Half Men"

Controversial TV star Charlie Sheen has been on the radio a lot lately, but his last outburst on a radio talk show went too far for CBS and Warner Brothers, which made the extraordinary move to halt production of its top-rated show for the rest of the season. On the Alex Jones show, Sheen ripped into "Two and a Half Men" show creator Chuck Lorre, calling him at one point a "turd" and an "un-evolved mind." He also had strong words for Alcoholics Anonymous, party girls, and even Thomas Jefferson.

Sheen says, "Are they happy with the $5 billion they already made off me or do they think they can turn it into $10 [billion] in a couple more seasons?" Charlie continued. "I'm just saying, you know [the show] is a runaway freakin' juggernaut. Do what you've gotta do -- I'll go make movies with superstars and not work with idiots." In halting production of "Two and a Half Men," CBS said "Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of Two and a Half Men for the remainder of the season."

Ironically, one of Sheen's comments also dared CBS & Warner brothers to pull the plug on the show, saying, "I was told if I went on the attack, they would cancel the show and all that, and so I'm just sort of seeing if they're telling the truth or not." Access Hollywood has the audio of Sheen's comments. Sheen attempted rehab and made news for allegedly involving himself with hookers and drugs. He also angered his co-stars and sitcom show crew when show tapings were first temporarily halted, affecting the schedules and lives of co-workers. Sheen earned an estimated $1.2 million per episode of "Men."

Little charlies world is falling apart and that may not be such a bad thing. Sometimes you have to hit bottom. That is, if someone will let him.

The show “Redeye” sort of does that. They have been running a segment called “Trouble in Sheen”. It sort a take off on a Frontline or CBS segment on an obscure country like one of the “stans” Its hilarious if the subject wasn't so pitifull

Sheen says Bush behind 9/11—it was staged to justify Iraq war

http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/march2006/230306Sheen_HEvents.htm

>>”Call me insane but did it sort of look like those buildings came down in a controlled demolition?”

That’s what Hollywood bad boy and actor Charlie Sheen asked his brother after watching the news coverage of 9/11 back in 2001.

In an interview with Alex Jones this week, a liberal radio talk show host for GCN Radio Network, Sheen relived his thoughts and shared his theories on what happened that historic day four-and-a-half years ago. According to Sheen, not only were President Bush and his administration involved in what he calls a “conspiracy theory,” but the press was too.

“It seems to me like 19 amateurs with box cutters taking over four commercial airliners and hitting 75% of their targets: that feels like a conspiracy theory,” Sheen said.

Sheen, like the vast majority of your Hollywood brethren, you really just aren’t that talented.

Most Americans, given the chance, could EASILY do what you do, just as well.

This will give him more time to work with Axlegrease and Gibbsey on the Baraq 2012 campaign.

http://www.mediaite.com/online/charlie-sheens-rant-leads-to-cbs-cancellation-of-two-and-a-half-men/

>>Most of Sheen’s interview with Jones centered around his private life and his career as he rambled about the “goddesses” he dates, the “Vatican assassin warlocks” he works with, and the great fiction that is substance addiction (“I’m cured,” he assures Jones, “I’m done.”). Of the most political significance is the aforementioned slam of Jefferson and attacks of “Bible-clingers” that disapprove of his “bitchin’” lifestyle. There is a remarkable amount of material to work with in the 18-minute interview.

But it was the turn toward the EP [exec prod.] of the hit sitcom that lead to the halting of the production. CBS issued the following statement: “Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen’s statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of Two and a Half Men for the remainder of the season.”

Sounds like the root of Sheen's problem is that he doesn't think he's making enough millions. "Greedy corporations" are profiting and he's not.

This is what happened to Farrah Fawcett way back when. She thought she was indispensable, tried to stand up for more bucks and her career was never the same.

Maybe so; he wants billions not just millions!

From Breitbart’s Big Hollywood:
http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D9LJKSNO2&show_article=1

In his interview with Jones, Sheen repeatedly evoked violent images and ideas. He also derided Lorre in an attack that reeked of anti-Semitism.

“There’s something this side of deplorable that a certain Chaim Levine—yeah, that’s Chuck’s real name—mistook this rock star for his own selfish exit strategy, bro. Check it, Alex: I embarrassed him in front of his children and the world by healing at a pace that his unevolved mind cannot process,” Sheen said.

“Last I checked, Chaim, I spent close to the last decade effortlessly and magically converting your tin cans into pure gold. And the gratitude I get is this charlatan chose not to do his job, which is to write,” he said.

Lorre, who was born Charles Levine, is a veteran producer whose hits include “The Big Bang Theory,” “Dharma & Greg” and “Cybill.”

ANY loser with spare cash can get a hooker.

You are not the stud you think you are Sheen. Lose your money, and see how many of your STD receptacles want anything to do with you

A far better prescription for a sitcom is what the producers of the delightful BIG BANG THEORY have found:
it’s like FRASIER for science geeks.
(Come to think of it 2 1/2 Men could have also been called
The Big Bang Theory)

How in the Hell is this show popular? I’ve seen an episode. Charlie hooks up with women. His douche brother can’t and fights with his ex-wife. The kid and maid make one-liners.

Agreed. Who thinks it's funny to laugh at Jr. High school jokes about the cast's debauchery? I don't get it either. Kinda gives me the creeps.

This is the worst breakdown I’ve ever seen, I just hope he doesn’t kill anyone, including himself in the process.

His father should get him declared incompetent and get him placed in a psycho ward before he hurts anyone else.

Poor Charlie and many of his Hollywood Kin throw away good TV Gigs because of their Drug Addictions. Hollywood and their leaders continue to turn a deaf ear to the Drug Problems inherent in their culture, thusly, condoning same by their inactions?

Nobody in their right minds(Charlie Sheen)would squander $1,200,000 in cash per episode of his TV Show for a fling with two porno chicks?
