Not a musical but perhaps the book would work as an opera, along the lines of Wagner's "Ring Cycle." It would be epic, if only we had Wagner still around to compose it.
In fact, the music of Wagner goes very well with the works of Ayn Rand and I often have it as background music when reading her books.

John Galt's speech would no doubt be much improved by adding choreography, though. Definitely. I see a version where John Galt simultaneously tap-dances his speech in morse code.

Most of the Bible has been reduced to musicals, why not Atlas Shrugged?

I think they should have Rush Limbaugh read Galt’s speech. He’s the only one who could do it justice, I think.

I think they should have Rush Limbaugh read Galts speech. Hes the only one who could do it justice, I think. All I know is, it's three hours of my life that I'll never get back. I don't need or want to hear it out loud.

Read Anthem. It is the same underlying theme as Atlas Shrugged, but only about 100 pages. And has an ending that defies all expectations by being even stupider.
