Sort of great. The problem is that she left out the Muslim part, although she had an earlier article that I thought was wonderful where she described Barry’s adoption of his Third World Muslim persona as his route to power.

Barry is basically all about Barry. His life is nothing but constant self-promotion, and like any good sociopath, he will adapt himself to whatever he thinks will get him what he wants.

And maybe she’s right: mabye the purely Muslim/African schtick is getting old, and maybe now he wants to appeal to his supporters with what a great guy he is...just a local black guy shooting hoops who somehow, aw shucks, found himself in the White House...and now wants to punish Da Man for having dissed him when he was shooting hoops out at the playground. (Let’s forget the fact that he’s half-white and was brought up by a white family in an exclusive area of Hawaii and went to none but the best schools and apparently was not a good basketball player.)

What a crock. But it is possible that this is Barry’s latest incarnation.

Robin is a licensed psychotherapist and a recovering liberal in Berkeley

An interesting perspective through the eyes of a profession I know very little of.

Obama doesn't have the fire, or the cojones, as Palin memorably phrased it, to be a revolutionary he doesn't embody the warrior spirit. A freedom-fighter has fire in his belly; he burns with an inner combustion,

In temperment terms, he is not a choleric.

He has no respect for American traditions.

He is not a melancholy

He's just Barry, an orphan with no country, the perennial outsider. A loner who prefers his own company or the anonymity of crowds. In clinical terms, he may be a "secret schizoid" -- outwardly engaged but, in actuality, uneasy around people.

Obama doesn't lose his cool. Aside from the occasional passive-aggressive comment

That might mean that he is a phlegmatic.

Obama comforts himself with pleasures -- parties, golf, vacations.

This is typical of a sanguine.

He is probably a phlegmatic-sanguine blend

Van Jones served time in jail during the Rodney King riots.

Good article but she's wrong about that. Van Jones was arrested in San Francisco at a sympathetic but peaceful protest re the Rodney King riots, spent one night in jail and charges were dismissed before it ever went to court. He's no warrior for the cause either he's just a slick political hack like 0bummer who wouldn't risk his own neck for anything.

Whatever anyone here thinks of the article...
I think "Typhoid Barry" sounds pretty apt.
