It’s also incomplete, a lot of DUI’s are for pills, legal and illegal, weed, cough medicine, etc. What about diabetics? Should the govt. verify their blood sugar levels before the car can start? Hypoglycemics can pass out at the wheel if their level drops. Maybe we should have to plug our cell phones into a cradle before the car will start.

Absolutely. Some are even for falling asleep at the wheel based on exhaustion. I have no issue for someone convicted of DWI’s but I hate when something is considered mandatory... whether you ever even had a drink or not.
