Some guy stands up for his rights or at least what he thinks are his rights, and a bunch of Conservatives(??) come down on him. Pitiful. They are not Constitutional rights. Get a grip. Private business and property are not covered in the Constitution when it comes to checking receipts.
Get a grip!

You are correct.
I happened to walk into a local liquor store where the Muslim behind the counter was bitching out some friend of his accusing the said friend of being racist b/c she was concerned about Muslim extremism.
Haven’t walked back in the door since (it’s been a year now). Even though they are cheaper.
Shoppers can and will modify their behavior not only on price.

It's clearly stated in Virginia State law. Private property owners and businesses can't usurp State law. If a law protects someone from being required to prove ownership of something once they have purchased it, then in fact and by law, it is his RIGHT to not show a receipt.
Why are people that claim to be conservative so eager for others to obey an illegal arbitrary rule? I guess some people are really letting their authoritarian flag fly tonight.

They are not Constitutional rights. Get a grip. Private business and property are not covered in the Constitution when it comes to checking receipts. Get a grip! Detaining you is an exercise of police power. Essentially, you are either being kidnapped, or you have employees acting as law enforcement. So yeah, the law does apply.
Or you can be raped, too at Wal-Mart.
Line forms to the left.
