I just watched that movie a couple nights ago. Tears will come at the end.

I haven't seen the Gere movie yet, but everyone says it is great. I have seen Hachikō's statue though and it will bring tears to your eyes that people still bring flowers to it. It has become a symbol of family loyalty there. New couples go there and lay flowers as kind of a blessing that they will stay as loyal as Hachikō.

The recent movie doesn’t tell Hachiko’s story. They changed much of the story.
