We are in a huge, huge mess...We are not dealing with normal electoral politics. That should be clear to everybody.

That may be an understatement. We may not be dealing at all with a functional electoral process. Especially given that top Republicans, even the most conservative, view any question of O's lack of eligibility to be a "distraction". Our nation could have a fraud in office, even a anti-American political operative, and they are too frightened to defend the Constitution.

Clinton may have received some political value when she threw her 900 FBI files on the table during negotiations with the O machine, but now the socialists own the FBI.

Any Russian "specialists" who serve on the Soros security detail certainly are not any better than ours.

I agree completely. John Boehner is a terrible, terrible House Speaker!!! He should be dumped immediately. At least with Nancy Pelosi, you know she is totally insane. Ia a “Third Party” in the making??? I certainly hope so!!! The Republican men, both in the House & Senate are without you know what!!!

I heard Mark Mamone, (sic?) on Hanity yesterday talking to Pat Caddell about 75 Republican House members signing onto a bill extending Obamacare to veterinarians. Boehner was one of the 75! We are in deep trouble.

Having graduated from high school near the area of Boehner’s district, I can attest there are a gaggle of Tea Party type Patriots in that area. I still have family up there and get my news directly from them. Still, it is a shame that our worst fears about the Republican leadership has come to pass.

I listened to Hannity interview Mike Pence on Thursday and when he got through his list of talking points asked for Sean’s audience to call their reps and let them know we want them to take on this fight.

My immediate response was, Didn’t we speak loud enough on November 2nd for them, Mr. Pence?

I sit out 2012 as a voter.

Not that I don't understand your frustration, but, a post today linked to
an article that quoted Plato (not one of my favorites, but when
he's right...), and it went something like

"If you're not involved in politics, you're doomed to be governed by your inferiors."

I'm not one to just sit it out. What's your cat's name? It might as well get two votes, and I'd rather vote for your pussy than the one in the picture.

I suspect you are right at least to some degree. Anyone who has survived in DC as long as Boehner has, is almost by definition corrupted by the system.

Clearly, the current Zeitgeist fits him like a suit that's way to big.

Look at it this way: Boehner has been in Congress for 20 years. And up until a few months ago no one had ever heard of him. So much for his being a leader.

The elections are coming fast. We need to build on the midterms as far as extinguishing every ‘rat and RINO crybaby collectivist from ever holding public office again...including the office dogcatcher.

598 days hence...and I'm updating it every day in my tagline. And no Slurpee after this one...

If this guy's the RNC nominee, I sit out 2012 as a voter. Or write in my cat's name.

If Mitigate Romneycare it the nominee, the country's done.

She has my vote. (Never mind that whole age limit thing - we aren’t following that silly old Constitution anyway.)

Quasi Mark Steyn ping. I believe this Daily Caller article is quoting Steyn from his appearance this week on Hugh Hewitt:

http://www.hughhewitt.com/transcripts.aspx?id=0b2d165a-0873-4183-a004-11cb385f8b88

And a couple of little blurbs from National Review online:

1. Presidential Plus-Fours

Obama may be putting while Rome burns, but you gotta hand it to him on his brackets: He got 29 of the 32 first-round games. I believe he picked Gaddafi Fembots to meet the Muslim Brotherhood in the championship game in Benghazi April 4th, so that’s looking good, too.

http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/262560/presidential-plus-fours-mark-steyn

2. Daniel, that Gaddafi letter to Obama is a work of genius:

To Obama, he wrote: “If Libya and the US enter into a war you will always remain my son, and I have love for you.”

Does he mean this literally? As in “Luke, I am your father”? Or Birther 2.0?

And this is one of the all-time greatest lines ever written from one world leader to another:

“How would you behave so that I can follow your example?” he asked.

Indeed. Can we get him to moderate the 2012 Presidential debate?

Freepmail me, if you want on or off the Mark Steyn ping list.

Thanks for the ping Slings and Arrows.

I tried to be hopeful, but as usual, you can count on the Republicans to always let you down. Boehner starting off with the boo hooing definitely wasn’t very inspiring.

There is no question that Boehner earned his RINO “bones”.

He was a member of the RINO group that essentially castrated the Clinton House impeachment investigation.
