She sang it in the movie. Andy Williams had a hit with it.

Full Worm Moon March
As the temperature begins to warm and the ground begins to thaw, earthworm casts appear, heralding the return of the robins. The more northern tribes knew this Moon as the Full Crow Moon, when the cawing of crows signaled the end of winter; or the Full Crust Moon, because the snow cover becomes crusted from thawing by day and freezing at night. The Full Sap Moon, marking the time of tapping maple trees, is another variation. To the settlers, it was also known as the Lenten Moon, and was considered to be the last full Moon of winter.

Oh, wait............
"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

I like that definition... the LAST full moon of WINTER!! Yay! I am always thankful when we make it through another winter unscathed. :)

It’s just clearing the trees and a low layer of thin clouds here in North Carolina. I’ve seen larger Harvest Moons, truthfully. It was more impressive last night.
Maybe it’ll be more of a phenomenon once it shines through without anything obscuring it.

That’s Johnny Cash introducing them! :)

“Moon River” is a song composed by Johnny Mercer (lyrics) and Henry Mancini (music) in 1961, for whom it won that year’s Academy Award for Best Original Song. It was originally sung in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s by Audrey Hepburn. Mercer and Mancini wrote the song for Audrey Hepburn to fit her vocal range.
