Is anyone taking pictures of the supermoon tonight? Since I'm at work it's impossible for me...maybe later.
In the meantime here's a pic of the supermoon I grabbed from a live webcam at the Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden.
Not too much time left before it's out of the picture. There is also a live stream at the website.

I had beeen wondering what the apparent difference in size would be,

Yeah, they were great, but I think the guy who wrote it (John Kricfalusi) was on some serious stuff....

A moon that, either through radioactive spider bite, contact with with toxic waste or a magic ring, develops super powers.

It’s gonna be HUGE!
I saw a Super Moon while I was driving along the Mississippi River on the ‘west coast’ of Wisconsin late one summer. (It was 1991, actually, so it WAS 20 years ago!) As I came over the bluffs near Eau Claire, WI, the moon seemed to take up the ENTIRE SKY and it was a deep orange color.
I will NEVER forget it. I had to pull over and just watch it. And I cried a little at the awesome beauty, but then, I’m a girl...LOL!
We just live in the COOLEST Solar System, don’t we? I wonder what the ‘poor people,’ who aren’t enthralled by Nature, are doing tonight? :)
