Terrific. Any detractors of OHMSS need to re-watch it. Despite a few stumbles, its a thoroughly enjoyable Bond film with perhaps the most development of Bonds character since Dr. No. Lets dive in.
A Different Bond, James Bond
We begin as we always do, with the man himself. The man, however, is now George Lazenby.
There have been many detractors of Mr. Lazenby over the years, but here in 2011, he comes off as completely credible, a perfectly competent actor, and he cuts a masculine and heroic figure. Hes got a different look to him than Mr. Connery he was a male model, after all but no less intriguing. His first appearance is on a windy beach road, passed by in a sports car by his soon-to-be-lover Tracy Di Vicenzio (Diana Rigg). The director, Peter R. Hunt, was the editor of all the previous Bond films, and plays coy with the audience for only a few moments before revealing the new Bond. Mr. Lazenby is shown only in silhouette or in extreme close-ups. When he leaps from his car, we get our first look. It isnt long before hes in a wave-crashing and sand-blasting fistfight with the thugs assailing Tracy. Although I hate the moment where he says, This never happened to the other fellow and throws a quick glance to the camera, Mr. Lazenbys introduction makes it pretty clear: hes no pansy.

Can’t stand him. I like Daniel Craig. Fantastic as Bond. Much harder edge than Connery, who is near-perfect.

Thanks potlatch
Your great 007 .gif!
I just found that in the last few days - then had to crop and resize it
I posted on a 2010 GOLDFINGER thread and had no handy OHMSS graphic I had worked on yet -

M: “Gold? All over?”
Bond: “She died of skin suffocation. It can happen to cabaret dancers.”
Yes, I saw it uploaded yesterday.
The way the shading is and the shadows make her back look deformed. Did you notice that?
[She died of skin suffocation]
Hi abb. I think I’ve read that that is a false premise, but haven’t bothered to investigate, lol.
I take it as fact. I'm not prepared to dispute Bond and neither did M!!
Lol, but Ian Fleming, himself, said he did not consider Bond a very admirable man!
The guys on Myth Busters actually did this; I can’t remember how it turned out.
Q: “Now this one I’m particularly keen about. You see the gear lever here? Now, if you take the top off, you will find a little red button. Whatever you do, don’t touch it.”
Bond: “Yeah, why not?”
Q: “Because you’ll release this section of the roof, and engage and then fire the passenger ejector seat. Whish!”
Bond: “Ejector seat? You’re joking!”
Q: “I never joke about my work, 007.”

Whoops!
I got the 2 URLs mixed up when I made the frame!
.
I’ll be darned, I just took the gold girl url and reposted it smaller. What did you do to get the black area over it?
Do it on your original image? I only used ONE image, no tables.
I put an 800x600 /X/BLACK.jpg over the middle of the 1024x768.jpg
I added a dash after the file name for the original image and uploaded to the /007/ folder to save it
It appears to be taken during rehearsals on a red velour sofa
There is another photo of another (stand-in) actor in the same style robe Sean Connery was wearing
