I don’t really understand why anyone except someone who’s seriously disfigured would get facial plastic surgery. Even when it’s done correctly, it never looks that good and the risks of something going wrong just seem too high.
Ma'am, in my case it wasn't done for egotistical reasons. After undergoing required tests that proved that I did not see nearly as well as I could, the operation was done (see my post above).
And you're wrong about it "never looks good." My outcome and that of others operated on by this surgeon were very, very good. And since she operated very slowly and checked each time she trimmed out a little eyelid it is highly doubtful that she would take too much and give the patient a "staring look."
Vanity, I suppose. Maybe the people that go under the knife over and over again are simply unable to cope with the fact they are getting older. I don’t know what kind of mirrors they own, ‘cause they don’t look better with plastic surgery(reconstructive surgeries notwithstanding), they just look like they’ve had work done.
Rosanne went from butt-ugly fat woman to fat woman. Gretta Van Sustren went from very plain and unfit for TV to kinda cute.
I'm sure there are some excellent plastic surgeons out there, but you think with all the money Hollywood stars have, they would be able to find someone that could do it properly. How many stars do we see where it is very obvious that they've had a procedure?
