True enough but the Autobiography of Malcolm X was (and remains) a terrific tale. I first read it in 1965 (66?) and remember I couldn't put it down.
The movie wasn't all that bad either.

There was one scene from “Malcolm the Tenth” (as Rush called it), that I liked.

When the lilly-white liberal bimbo goes up to Malcolm and asks him, “Is there anything I can do to help your cause.” And Malcolm snapped back, “No!”
