This is one reason not many are griping about no jobs. It is also generating false consumer numbers because these "sales" are included in Consumer Spending statistics.

Don’t let the food stamps statistic fool you. The reason more people are on food stamps is because of expanded eligibility. This is creeping socialism, pure and simple. You don’t need to be starving to get food stamps anymore.

I think we are basically in a Great Depression, but people stay on "unemployment" for years, and foodstamps are amazingly common, and banks allow people to stay in foreclosed homes, and government figures for Inflation and Unemployment are basically doctored up.
In 1933, the country was less socialistic, so a deep economic breakdown really hurt. Today, an economic breakdown of similar magnitude is harder to see. But I think it's here.

BO’s/BS’s Cloward-Piven strategy is proceeding according to plan.

The Democrats believe that this will support and stimulate the economy more that anything the Free Market can muster.
Can you imagine the stupidity?

The rising food prices means their food stamps won’t be adequate. Then what? Obama, the Wannabe Dictator, will have to come up with more borrowing.

Before I consider any freebies that are paid for by another hard working person I need to find out if they will pay for Cuban cigars and hard liquor otherwise the paperwork really isn't worth filling out.
The tax return that I get from my unemployment will pay for my families food and shelter.

BOs/BSs Cloward-Piven strategy is proceeding according to plan.Because people are taught that it's okay to live on other peoples hard earned labor and that those hard workers are just evil anyway.

It's difficult to compare the ‘30’s with today. Back then, most Americans were considered Rural and could grow their food and support themselves without much money during hard times.
Today, 75% of the country is Urban and barely have enough food to last a week stored in their homes. They are deeply dependent on their jobs, the Government and the local Government to provide all their needs for them. If even one of these providers goes away, there is nothing left but anarchy and mayhem.
We are in dangerous times where we have never been before. There is nothing to compare it to either.

It is mostly minority handouts for votes. I would have no problem with giving actual basic food to the needy but this is ridiculous. Bring back the soup lines. Hell the Beggars on the streets are making more than social security people.

Meanwhile, the Kenyan bass turd has one billion dollars in his “campaign chest” to purchase the Oval Office for another four years. Somebody needs to be in jail. ONE BILLION DOLLARS! Our system is definitely broken.
