The original picture I saw of Patrick a couple of weeks ago, laying on an examining table, he literally looked like something you would see dead on the side of the road. The woman that did that to him should be put in jail for a good bit of time, but if I could have my way I would have something worse done to her. I can’t believe that he made it. It’s hard for me to imagine what people can do to other people, to animals, etc. On the other hand, we are all only one lifetime away from barbary (I don’t know if that’s the right word or not—I mean a primitive lifestyle) ourselves. Take any of us, raised without civilization and we would not treat other people or animals as we do now. I am not justifying this, there is no excuse in our culture, just saying that it is a very thin line. It makes me wonder why so many people want to tear that thin fabric away, frankly.
