Police have warned that a missing 16-year-old girl from Illinois who ran away from home to avoid an arranged marriage could become the victim of an ‘honour killing’. Zaineb Chaudhary has not been seen since March 11 when she attended classes at school in Skokie, Illinois. According to police, Zaineb’s father had visited his native Pakistan in October to arrange a marriage for his daughter. He has stated that he was there, looking for marriage arrangement for his daughter,’ Tammy Jacobsen of the Skokie Police Department told local station Fox Chicago. Police are now warning that the girl’s disappearance could be viewed as a ‘disgrace’ by her family and say that they want to protect her from any possible ‘honour crime’

I’d offer to give her shelter and protection from those who wish harm upon her. I pray that she finds safety. Her courage speaks of her bravery and the cowardice of her family and society of origin.

You are probably right but I hope she is hiding out somewhere safe. Plus, I hope she stays in hiding till her 18th birthday and can simply disappear on her own terms.

I noticed the greasy little weasel made it a point of saying that a “chaste” woman doesn’t need 4 witnesses to report a rape. I would venture to guess many, if not most, immigrants from prior generations in some sense longed for familiarity. The difference between then and now is that those prior generations were expected to assimilate and leave the Old World behind. Today, too many come here with the assumption that they'll plunder our riches, all the while setting up their own little fiefdoms of the "home country" knowing the ACLU and other commie organizations will go to court to let them.
