Just wondering how all the FReepers in the tornado areas are doing?
It's been a deadly couple of days across the South - hope everyone made it thru okay.
All well here. Was driving west yesterday and hit the squall line in Statesville a couple of hours before it started spitting out tornadoes back to the east. Weirdest thing about it was it went from blinding rain and wind to blue sky and clear in about 2 minutes.
Alive and well in Raleigh... well Cary, but close enough.
We are in Hickory. No tornadoes that I am aware of, but we had a very large poplar come down across our street just two houses over. The new homeowner moved in about two years ago and cut about half the trees on his lot. Without the shelter of the grove, this big one came down in yesterday’s strong winds.
No one hurt!

I’m very close to Creedmoor Rd and 540, and there is insulation EVERYWHERE....Its like the tornado hit an insulation factory or something...LOL. Lots of chunks of foam as well. Found two 4 x 8 sheets of tin roof in our neighborhood....Unreal...We have LOTS of trees in our yard, but thankfully only lost a couple of limbs....
My family will be praying for your beloved Grandson and his parents, and you, of course! May the LORD heal everyone and restore your homes. We are new to Georgia and all the Thunderstorms,and Tornado Warning, etc. It keeps a family on it’s knee’s in prayer to the Father in Heaven! May Jesus Bless you all!

Things are going incredibly well for my Grandson who was critically injured when a tornado demolished my Son's home on Camp Lejuene.
He is still listed as critical but stable. His Mom and Dad are doing well. They have been by his side and are happy (amazed) by his progress.
