My gmail is down this morning. And I'm seeing by bing, gmail down that it is. But, no one seems to know why and every article that I try to get on to read about it seems to be hanging and not loading all the way. I also read on a post that there were rumors of DoS attack??? hmmmmmm

Thank you so much for your time. I probably have done this before, but, seeing I’m not a guru if you don’t do it all the time I forget how or why or whatever ect. I’ll wait and see if any of the puter gurus respond and if not I’ll give it a try.

No problems here. Might be a specific ISP provider(s).

Not dissing your knowledge or judgement, just don’t want to jump into something I might not be able to back out of ;)

That’s OK. You can’t hurt anything. Nothing will happen if you mistype the words, you just won’t make the command happen. I didn’t mean to scare you off. You needn’t worry. Just feel confident in what you do. :0)

I went to try to get onto an art supply website(http://www.jerrysartarama.com/). I can’t get on it. What I noticed is they use google-analytics. So it looks like anything that uses google I can’t get on. Strange, very strange.

Very very odd. Using Google Chrome or Firefox I can not get into gmail or anything else google. Using IE I can get to them, but, it’s very very slow....strange, very strange.

Even stranger still, after getting into gmail in IE, I thought maybe now it’ll work in Google Chrome. I’ll be darned, it worked....very very strange.

Did you know you can check GMail online?

When they find a way for me to check it OFFline, let me know.

You know, any time I have some Lazamataz I use him up right away.

If you try to save Lazamataz, he goes bad in the fridge.

Organic = no preservatives = short shelf-life.

Don't worry. Be happy. Give it time, will probably resolve itself. Their servers may be sluggish, b/c they are downloading all your history. ;)

My guess is that something went wrong with your registry cleaning but I don’t know what. I’m out of ideas with the DNS flush. Sorry. Good luck with the hughesnet and the good FReeper gurus!

Really?? That’s a miracle of modern technology that is.

That’s nothing. I went online to check the internets.

you all set??

you could hardcode different dns in your IP network settings..see if it’s better.

www.opendns.com offers 208.67.222.222; and 208.67.220.220

you can easily remove it, too

Hey, thanks so much. I figured it out. Don’t ask me how, I just dink around until I get something to work or break it worse...lol I tried the DNS flush, soft reboot and hard reboot of my hugesnet :þ I hate hugesnet. I use Google Chrome and thought I’d see if firefox was doing the same thing, it was. So then I thought I’d try IE, opened it up and everything worked great. So I thought well, maybe Google chrome is working now and sure enough it was. Have no clue what the connection was or why it did that.

Yea that’s kinda what I’m thinking too that it did something. I did however save the old registry (always do that before I dink, well maybe not always ;) I merged it back, that didn’t work either. It probably changed a switch maybe?? I’ve had that happen before. At any rate it’s working now. Funny though how chrome nor firefox worked until after I fired up IE and tried loading gmail in IE.
