I don't care how inconvenienced I am, I will not let anyone I care about ride the subway or El in Philly. I was on the Snyder Ave platform about 10 years ago with a bunch of Asian kids. They moved so fast, so randomly that it probably looked to me like what an NHL goalie sees in the playoffs. There was no way I could tell what the hell was going on. It wasn't that any Asian kid would worry me more than anybody else, but I learned that in a confined space with a large number of people, I could never make a good decision about the use of a firearm. I, therefore, avoid confined spaces and large numbers of people.
I plan to never be at the tender mercies of the Philly DA or a Philly jury.

One through the floor brings anyone advancing towards you into slow motion. That big question flashes across their mind, “Is this worth dying for?”
