Just talked to a friend there that says says they are surrounded by lightening and thunder still and he’s preparing to duck if need be!
Rowdy, down south of the StL area the storms are still raging. Tell yer bud to to be ever vigilant.
I am in West St. Louis County, long track tornado went through majorly populated areas. Lambert Airpot received extensive damage with glass shattering and cutting travelers. Roof on Concourse C blown off. Major stretch of highway 270 closed due to power lines. Its night so full details won’t be known until tomorrow.
And down south they are still getting hammered.
BTW, maybe we should wear a secret pin or something in case we see each other in Dierberg's and we can do the secret handshake. :-}
Yeah, it’s been crazy the last few weeks. My neighborhood is surrounded by a creek but there’s a good-sized runoff basin.
I saw posted somewhere that DHS was putting out bids for MREs in case of a New Madrid fault quake. They may need them sooner than that if this keeps up!
South County. Sorry I’m late. Power outage only from about 2230 till sometime after midnight. No physical damage anywhere around that I could see. Hope everyone is well.
