For non airplane movies I've got every Steve McQueen, Humphry Bogart, Clint Eastwood, and Trey Parker and Matt Stone movie made. Plus the usual cowboy, sci fi, war, comedy stuff - a lot of it on the big list.
Twelve O’Clock High is one of my all-time favorites.
“I’m choppin’, but no chips are flyin’...”
One movie I have always wanted to see but somehow haven’t is “The War Lover”. I’ve seen most of your list, and I’m also a big Bogie fan.
Then you have to have 633 squadron. Lucas stole that movie for the last action scene in Starwars.
My tastes are pretty much in line with yours for aircraft movies, but I did think "The Memphis Belle" blew great big chunks. It used every bad cliche from every bad war movie, combined that with bad acting, managed to make the entire air crew look like half-trained morons and topped it all off with the inability to show a decent ME-109.
"The Tuskegee Airmen" was a pretty good airplane movie.
