It doesn’t matter what her message is, she will NEVER win with that voice!

"Lincoln's voice was, when he first began speaking, shrill, squeaking, piping, unpleasant; his general look, his form, his pose, the color of his flesh, wrinkled and dry, his sensitiveness, and his momentary diffidence, everything seemed to be against him, but he soon recovered."

Abraham Lincoln's close friend and law partner William H. Herndon, July 19, 1887

My bad.

I didn’t know he was so accomplished.

I’d never try to debate him while six hours drunk and late for dinner.

The debate would occur when I was only three hours drunk or I’d back out.

Trump isn’t. Trump would destroy Obamination. Guaranteed win.

Trump's a NY Democrat who switched parties. And he has used eminent domain to steal properties from their rightful owners.

And you're right. The Left takes quotes from Tina Fey and acts like Sarah Palin said them, so she can't possibly win. </sarcasm>

PS - Better get ready to cry in your beer.

"Trump reeks of capitalist power and profit. He knows what America used to be and what it can be again.

Best way I have seen it summed up anywhere!

I would just like to add one thing:

... and is not afraid to shout if from the rooftops.

He IS Reagan! I remember it clear as day! What made Reagan is he talked just like Trump! And this was in my first year of college and we were like “Holy shiet! This dude speaks the truth!” Same thing here with Trump. You have to understand, we are in serious serious trouble here. Idiots and democrats (same thing) are systematically destroying this country, to the point of no return. We are AT the point of no return! We need someone who is going to say “F&CK THAT!” It’s the ONLY way to save this country. Trump is the ONLY person speaking that way!

This is the man who you believe is the great white hope of the GOP and the nation?

Well, again, I actually know who you’re talking about, and no, Sarah Palin does not sound like Judy Tenuta. I was already having trouble with the meme that the gov is shrill or shrieking, because I’ve never heard it, even when she shouts. The idea that she sounds like The Petite Flower is simply absurd.

If the little green guy actually existed, he’d be incredibly unhappy to hear somebody so stupid was using his name on the Internet.

Moderator: Mr. President, do you believe America is on the decline?

Obama: You know countries used to look up to America as an example of a modern, well-functioning society, and now it seems like they have bigger plans then we do. That’s not the America I want to live in.

Moderator: And Mr. Trump, do you believe America is on the decline?

Trump: I look at what’s going on with our country. We’re like a third world nation.

This country is in such trouble. If you look at what China’s doing to us. If you look, I mean, look at what’s going on with gasoline prices. They’re going to go to $5, $6, $7 a gallon and we don’t have anybody in Washington that calls OPEC and says, “Fellas, it’s time. It’s over. You’re not going to do it anymore.” They’re not our friends. They wouldn’t even be there if it wasn’t for us.

Moderator: President Obama, why should the people vote to re-elect you?

Obama: Ultimately the American people understand this is a serious, sober time. They want an optimistic vision. That’s what this election is going to be about.

Moderator: Mr. Trump, why should the American people vote to elect you and do you think you will win?

Trump: Oh, I’m sure I will. You know what they get with me?

They get a guy that’s not going to let the world rip off the United States.

The world is ripping us off. I hate it.

Moderator: Mr. President, are you concerned about the strength of your opponent on the other side?

Obama: Right now I have such a big day job that I am not yet focused on what’s happening on the other side.

Moderator: Mr. Trump, how would you describe the state of our nation?

Trump: Ripped off by everybody because we have poor leadership.

Because we have people that don’t know what they’re doing.

Moderator: Mr. President, how do you think the American people envision their ideal president?

Obama: They want one that unifies the country, and more important than anything else, they want some answers to how we’re going to get the economy moving.

Moderator: Isn’t that what you have been trying to do for almost 4 years?

Obama: My suspicion is that anybody who is not addressing those questions is going to be in trouble.

Moderator: Mr. Trump, do you think you would have any difficulty going from private businessman to president of the United States?

Trump: You know, unlike other people I’ve really been public all my life.

I’ve done a good job. I’ve built a great company. I mean it’s magnificent.

I’m going to disclose all this stuff. And they will be amazed at how big it is, how strong it is, how much cash there is. It’s a great company. I’d love to show my tax returns. I may tie the release of my tax returns to Obama releasing his birth certificate.

I think that people see me as somebody that loves this country. But maybe even more importantly I will not let our great nation be ripped off by so many others.

I think they see that. They think I am a smart guy.

Moderator: Mr. President, does criticism bother you?

Obama: Some of it will be settled by the America people in the election.

That is how democracy should work.

Moderator: Mr. Trump, does criticism bother you?

Trump: Next question. You’re not doing your job very well.

You’ve been co-opted by Obama.

Moderator: Finally, what would you like to say to the American people?

Obama: To make very clear to the American people that we have a choice.

Moderator: Mr. Trump, any final words to the American people?

Trump: I had two divorces. And they were very good women.

And I always say about that — they were excellent women, terrific women.

But you know what? I work so hard and so long that it’s almost unfair to women.

But isn’t what this county wants — don’t — you think the country wants somebody that works long and hard and smart, maybe above all smart?

So I think the reason I am doing so well in all the polls, where I am leading most of ‘em is that they see me stopping this onslaught from other people taking advantage of the county. Cause I’ll tell you something, if I win, people will not be ripping off the United States any longer.

When Lincoln ran, there was no TV and no internet.

Today, unfortunately, a lot of superficial things matter, as much as content, like it or not. Not to mention whose side the MSM is on.

He has the anger....the professional capabilities....the money....the in-depth understanding of how to use the msm....but he needs to truly branch out from the birther issue.

Not drop it! Oh no....but branch out from it. He needs to start hammering on other things the current regime has failed on...and they are legion (foreign policy, energy, debt, the military, government expansion, education, and on and on).

But where he can do the most damage to the current regime, and help the country besides...is on the jobs front.

We'll have to wait and see....but I hope he doesn't continue to rely on just the birther issue. There are far too many other "nuggest" laying around just waiting to be picked up

Amazing, from Jan 2011.
Ten minutes of policy discussion, without one mention of the BC.

All of those MSM types who claim Mr. Trump is obsessed with the 0bama BC, could be wrong

‘Feelings’ can lead people astray. Trump is more liberal than any of the other Republican candidates including RINOs like Huck and Romney. None of those guys supported John Kerry in 2004 and Barack Hussein Obama in 2008. There is nothing conservative about Trump.

Obama fooled a lot of people in 2008. Trump is fooling a lot of people now.

". . . Not to mention whose side the MSM is on."

I thought the msm was dead?? Was the "dinosaur" media? Was ineffectual at best? Was losing readers/listeners? Was unprofessional and totally biased? Was failing?

Why in the world does the "side" on which the msm sits matter?

Yes, let’s relish these short lived moments watching Donald trash obummer and use it to build a coalition and support and goodwill. And then once he’s built a strong coalition, let’s watch him divide and conquer the anti-obummer tsunami coming straight for the usurper .... that will be our Hell.

Uh, no, Reagan didn't.

I think you misunderstand the writer's intent. I don't believe they meant that Reagan sounded like or used the same speech patterns as does the Trumpster.

I believe he meant the Mr. Reagan "told it like it is"! Of course, he was a trained actor and could deliver one hell of a message in a very effective way.

Tho not trained as an actor, the Trumpster does indeed deliver one hell of a message. And the reason - IMHO - that he is so effective is that he speaks in the language most of the rest of us use. He also "calls 'em as he sees 'em"...just like Reagan did.

And if the hearer...or the target of the attack doesn't like it....they can go straight to he!!

In that regard....the Trumpster speaks exactly like Reagan.
