Obama’s Easter Sunday Pastor Rails Against Racist Talk Radio (Compares Rush to KKK!)
The Blaze ^ | April 25,2011 | Jonathon M. Seidl

The media stood and applauded yesterday when President Obama and his family went to church for Easter. Yesterday’s visit to Shiloh Baptist Church in D.C. shows again that Obama really is a man of faith, the reports seem to suggest.

But while the media rushed to report on the first family’s attendance of the predominately black congregation (and the family’s outfits), what it failed to mention was the views held by the church’s pastor. And while those views are not delivered in the same fiery manner as Obama’s former pastor, Jeremiah Wright, they sound eerily familiar.

What views are those? How about that the country is still racist, that racists get programs on Fox News, and that Rush Limbaugh is the new KKK.

I wonder what the Obama’s Easter dinner menu was?
Ham? It is not published any where yet the LATimes reported the Obama’s were full attending the easter egg roll.

Meet the new ‘pastor,’ same as the old ‘pastor.’

My understanding is that this pastor ranted his “Rush is KKK” rant at some time in the past, not during the Easter service.

Which makes it all the more interesting that 0bama chose this church to go to for Easter services.

I believe the only other time he’s attended church during his term was to hear a Muslim speak.

I agree with your theory. Obama did go to church in Hawaii once. He only started going to Church because his new chief of staff told him to do so would help him. In Hawaii he went when he made the controversial recess appointments (2 of which ended the NBP investigation.)

You are right.

Drudge has the story and the link to the video where this pastor does the comparison.

>>"Will Obama have to deny this pastor, too?"

From the article:

James Parker at WRNO-FM in New Orleans did some digging yesterday about Shiloh Baptist’s pastor, Dr. Wallace Charles Smith. Not only did he find that Smith loves to preach on race, but he noticed Smith even infused race into yesterday’s Easter sermon:

He should. He is another defender of Jeremiah Wright.

From 2008:

Rev. Jeremiah Wright Mostly Quiet at Panel, Talks to The Post (Washington Post By Marcia Davis | April 29, 2008; 5:05 PM ET)

The chapel of the Howard University School of Divinity was filled with religious leaders from across the country today as they discussed the implications of Rev. Jeremiah Wright's controversial comments in the context of the black church experience. Though Wright spoke for more than hour at the National Press Club yesterday, he remained quiet and in the pews today.

On Monday night he also was silent at the District's Shiloh Baptist Church, where the Rev. Wallace Charles Smith and other leaders prayed and laid hands on the minister...

Yeah, we see how well that's worked in the last 50 years.
