I figured this was the genuine article, but then I look over the White House .pdf, and I am less convinced.
What is with that M? It isn't off a 1961 typewriter!

What is with that M? It isn't off a 1961 typewriter! Correct. Since both A.M., and P.M., end in "M.", the "M." is preprinted.

Okay, this is a totally down-and-dirty five second job, but I read somewhere that the date written by Mrs. Eleanor Nordyke was the same as Mrs. (Stanley) Ann Dunham Obama. Here is a comparison of just that handwritten date on the BCs of the two twins and of Obama's. I see them as similar (the 61 is very close and the "tilt" of the numbers is crazy-close) but I can't say this is a cut-and-paste job here. I am not an expert in any shape or form, I just wanted to have it here to discuss. Anyone else?
