there was even flooding up on the SU campus in Syracuse, which was amazing to hear. have no idea what’s going on outside right now, we have a tornado watch til 3pm.

really? that’s why i was so incredulous about the SU campus bc i know you have to GO UPHILL to get there and couldn’t imagine how it would flood on a hill. knock wood, we have never had any flooding/water up on our hill, but the creek at the entrance to the neighborhood will often flood and so we will go out the back way.

Just looked at the doppler radar on NOAA’s website, and it looks like DC and central Virginia are getting slammed. Ugly.

I hadn’t heard of this guy before. And reading the article linked from your link, I’m not quite sure what he did? Refusing an order to be reassigned? Somehow it has got to be more than that, right?

Father Pfleger is the controversial Chicago priest who is an ally/friend of Obama, who has stood up for Jeremiah Wright et al. he is HORRIBLE. i will look for the other article which has more info.

the guy CLEARLY is a catholic in name only and has alway been so. that’s why he will “leave” the church, whose tenets he has berated and questioned, and start his own, St Michael Pfleger. He’s all about being a personality and not a diocesan priest subordinate to a bishop.

it was the heavy rains, came down so hard and fast it flooded the area and we suffered....floods the patio and then it flows into the basement through the windows. the streets drain into self contained wells, when they fill the water has no where to go. the Susquehanna River was very high before yesterday’s rain. Binghamton area flooded the night before...I was down that way and saw the flood mud washed down into the roads. low intersections were closed. this rain better STOP!

as if the evidence of his turning his back on his Catholic faith has not been there for all to see for years. the time to remove him is long overdue.

A Catholic priest has NO business adopting sons. Good grief.

I never heard of them either but it sounds like they are geared to a specific clientele.
