I’m not a fan of Camilla (having an affair with a married man I think is disgusting) but she looks very nice there. The outfit is very tasteful, and while the hat is edgy, it’s not weird like the Weird sisters.

I can’t read this whole thing right now but I made it to page 3. I think that it will be King William over Charles.I am not a Brit and I hope Charles and his mistress get skipped over.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Elizabeth outlives Charles, given the physical look of them both today. Then the whole question of succession would be moot.

No, after her jubilee she is supposed to step down and hand it over to someone. I hope they skip Charles.

As the article says, succession really isn’t up to the Queen completely.

I still believe that Charles will be king (should he outlive his mother). He’ll never be the popular figure Elizabeth has been -— any interest in him pretty much faded once Diana was out of the picture -— but he’ll hold the title.

The article said they did a (my words) test run. He and his wife went to Canada and no one was interested 53 people showed maybe. So the Queen sent William in her place to something and people went fanatical. I read the article different than you. Charles is too political and unpopular. He may take the throne but I don't think for long. I think the rumors of his having Alzheimer’s may pass him up. Who knows...

The silvery gray with yellow accents I thought tasteful. Maybe because it was sort of a "coat dress" which gave the feeling of a formal suit so I gave it a pass on that. IMHO the underneath should have been silver also -the white gown underneath was not right.

Camilla could have worn royal blue or green and it wouldn't have made a drop of difference - we all know she and Charles conducted themselves rather disgracefully as far as their relationship goes.

Second look here:

I occasionally watch "Say Yes to the Dress" which is a fun show - but I am amazed how dresses are starting to look more and more like strippers are designing them. There is one dress on the show that brides buy over and over again, and is so tasteless it makes me sad.
