Still the evidence is the cop just jumped out of his car and shot a deaf man from behind.
Be good to NEVER VISIT SEATTLE!
It's as crazy there as Las Vegas.

Yep, cops get away with murder, literally.

Not enough. The cop needs to go to jail for murder.

The city of Seattle has reached a $1.5 million settlement of claims brought by the family of slain woodcarver John T. Williams, who was shot dead by Seattle Police Officer Ian Birk last August. Good! A slice of justice anyway. What really needs to happen though is for Ian Birk to be spending the next 50 years getting ass raped in a federal prison. THAT would be justice.

This cop was trigger happy at best. He’s been fired already. I just hope that he is run out of the state.

He should be in jail. Anybody who has seen the video can see that it is a premeditated murder. I usually side with the police, but not in this case.

But prosecutors declined to charge Birk with a crime - saying there was no proof he acted with malice. That's good to know, for future reference, if I am ever careless, negligent, reckless, arrogant, trigger-happy, paranoid with a firearm - just so long as I'm not malicious.
Oh, wait, I need a badge first.

I was just about to quote that same line from the article...
"But prosecutors declined to charge Birk with a crime - saying there was no proof he acted with malice."
I'll have to remember that one next time I get pulled over for speeding.

Nope.
$1.5 million is not even pocket change for a city like Seattle.
Cop needs to stand trial at least for manslaughter and a city the size of Seattle should be paying tens of millions for a settlement. It should HURT!

I love how the moderators go behind me a strip out all the topics and key words I put in when I post these types of stories.
I also notice who they don’t do that is I post a story n the economy or such...
Considering that I’ve butted heads with them in the past for changing my titles (which I always thought was a no-no here).
They suspended me for posting news articles such as this one and just outright trying to silence me from posting stories that detail criminal acts committed by cops.
It makes you wonder...

You post stories about police wrongdoing the way someone used to post about pitbull attacks.
I think the mods just get tired of someone banging the same drum all the time no matter how valid the theme.
To: heartwood
Yet some people still refuse to admit cops do anything wrong.
