Why do people on the right want to ‘move on’? The damn problem is here and now. I will never understand the desire of the right to undermine itself and give libs a pass.

I agree. The right has always be populated with cowards hiding under the guise of enlightened.

My opinion is if you accept the prima facia wrong, then you have already lost. This is what the supposed enlightened of the right ignore.

“I agree. The right has always be populated with cowards hiding under the guise of enlightened.”

I mentioned this a while back on a different post but I spent a lot of time 97-2001ish working/writing in the off-road/outdoor recreation industry and had to deal with eco nazis regularly. And I was not nice about it.

It was stunning how many on ‘our side’ of the land use issue would repeatedly roll over and give in/give up land to groups like Sierra Club/Center for Biological Diversity and holler to high heaven that I and others like me were the ‘problem’.

After all, if we just all ‘compromised’ we could all get some of what we wanted.

So they compromised and a little while later, there was SC/CBD again demanding more...and more...and more.

I still look in on that world now and again. Most of the areas we fought over are now wilderness areas/off limits to OHV use.

Boy all that go along to get along sure did wonders for the home team. Not.

Astounding how few people are willing to put skin in and fight for what they believe in, yet still claim to hate Dem/Liberalism and bitch to the world when the libs win.
