In true Obama style, campaigning while standing on a casket.

According to Obama he killed him with his bare hands.

I can report...I directed Leon Panetta...I was briefed...I met repeatedly...I determined...at my direction...I've made clear...I've repeatedly made clear...I called President Zardari...I, as Commander-in-Chief

This is the same POS who was against the "unfunded" war and who delayed the troops General McChrystal requested.

So, I did hear a lot of “I’s” in the little bit of the speech I heard.

According to Obama he killed him with his bare hands.

And he didn't even bother to read him his Miranda Rights.

He’s the commander in chief. He ordered the capture or death of one our worst enemies. Under his watch the military was allowed to finish its years long operation.

He did not tell them to stop operating in Pakistan as soon as he got into office.

Whatever you may think his motives may be he is the one that let the operations continue and finally gave the go ahead for the final operation. If you can’t give President Obama a single ounce of credit or be happy for America on a day like this than I really don’t know what is wrong with you.

I guess you only root for America when people have the “r” attached to their names and hope we fail during the “d” periods?

I’m not the only one with this opinion.

Ronald Fing McDonald could have sat in briefings and said “yes” to recommendations provided by the DOD and CIA.

You're both frickin' idiots. Bozo had nothing to do with the death of Osama, if indeed he is actually dead. The planning and the operations were carried out way before he ever came into office. As for those of us who hate Obama, put me in the column.

If Ronald McDonald ordered it I would give him a point in the plus column too.

Best case scenario: Obama was involved and made this a priority.
Worst case scenario: Obama had to be led kicking and screaming into letting this happen.
Most likely scenario: Obama just told those intel guys keep doing whatever you need and let me know when you get something big.

Remember that Somali hostage situation with the Mersk? They had the SEAL teams go out and set up and do all the work. Obama still ordered it. Does he get all the credit? No! Should he get an iota? Yes!

Man you should rethink your attitude and see if you reall want to be this petty at a time like this. From what I see Obama could off Hitler and you’d find a reason to whine about it.

Bush’s “Torture” (aka waterboarding) of KSM lead to the killing of 0sama by 0bama, who objected to the “torture.”

What a hoot!

0bama takes credit for the fruits of “torture”. I love it. GWB lives in 0bummer’s brain, free of charge.

You are being unfair. Obama wanted to out the team that actually did the deed; but the General made him sign a non disclosure statement. Some Commander in Chief.

I’m glad Osama is dead, I’m thrilled our guys did it, and I give credit where it’s due, Obama didn’t stop the operations that were in place when he took office, and he gave the green light to send the team.

Now, he can get back to the important business of destroying the country with his socialist policies, reckless spending and Chicago thug politics, all while maximizing his time on the golf course.

Just because I despised Osama and wanted him in Hell doesn’t make me like Obama one iota more because it happened. That’d be like giving the captain of the Titanic a high five for letting the crew run the boiler while he steered the ship towards the iceberg.

So he finally did something right. Sure took him long enough. I hope this doesn't happen but this is the worst administration to build on this victory where America's future is concerned. Just wait. Obama will squander this opportunity.

So he finally did something right

Of course, just so he could rub Bush's nose in it, so he was motivated enough to do it.

Wow...An idealogue is someone who is so caught up in their belief system, they can’t recognize a truth that runs contrary to it.

Those of us who see a good thing for what it is and can give the president a nod when he does good are not “frickin’ idiots,” nor do we extend a pass for any past mistakes.

His speech tonight was heavy on the “I’s” granted, and gave the obligatory “we are not at war with Islam” BS, but it was an otherwise good speech, invoking George Bush, and put God in all the right places.

Like it or not, Obama authorized the operation, and likely did so without the cooperation of the Pakistani government, particularly the ISI.

Does this mean I’m gonna go out and vote for him in 2012? Hell no, but I am not gonna sit back and spin this into something accidental, nefarious, or unpatriotic either - When push came to shove, he gave the kill order, and deserves acknowledgement of that.

Reread your own post and give it some thought.

Then, and only then, you can get back to us with something that makes a little more sense.

My Late Uncle's best friend of 30 years, a Port Authority Police Officer, was murdered on 9/11 thanks to Osama. I resent your comment. You don't know who you are directing your ridiculous post to, so I advise you put your brain in gear before moving your fingers.

Maybe you're a little more tired than your moniker lets on.

“General made him sign a non disclosure statement.”

Do you have a source for that?

A high ranking officer in our Armed Services demaning a sitting President to sign something concerning information that is already regulated by several laws and executive orders? I’m not exactly a history buff but I’m unaware of anything like that happening, ever.

I know the civil military relationship has had some tense points (Korea, Cuban Missle Crisis, Vietnam) but something about that just seems off to me. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.
