Of course not, but this Frog left the hotel room in such a hurry after this event that he left his cell phone behind and hopped on the first Air France flight to a non extradition country. Do you know anyone, especially an important person, who isn't attached to their phone. Add that to "The Great Seducers" history and there is a lot to wonder about this guys innocence. Women CAN lie about rape, but why would we dismiss this because he is the head of the IMF?

I've read the incident happened around noon. He checked out at 12:28 and went and ate lunch with one of ex's and their daughter Camille, a 26-year-old grad student in poly-sci at Columbia. Then he headed for JFK. By the time he got to the airport, he realized he was missing his phone. So, he called he hotel, and they offered to send someone out to JFK with it. Instead, they sent the Port Authority Police.

It appears, if he hadn't called the hotel for his phone, he would have escaped to France easily. As it was, they got him only ten minutes before wheels up.

So, it would seem he was not remotely aware of how much trouble he was in. You get used to droit de seigneur when you're a top Frog, I guess, and tend to forget where you are.

I am NOT dismissing it. He sounds like the kind of person who could well be a rapist.

All I’m saying is that he is entitled to a presumption of innocence, and that if I were a juror, I’d not only want to,b ut I feel that it would be my duty to look at all the evidence before coming to a decision, one way or the other.
