Oh come on, really? I remember several school dances back in the day where bales of hay were part of the decorations- and still are at many western weddings. Cleanup should have been easy enough- just take out the bales and sweep the rest. It is true a few people are allergic to hay but I haven't seen too many in my lifetime. This has been blown out of proportion in a big way. Too bad I wasn't there to take on the clean-up job, sounds like I could have made a bundle off of the jokers that run that school.
