That looks like Kudzu. I’m plagued with Nut Sedge, poured the specific killer STRAIGHT on the plant and it didn’t even wilt.
Sedgehammer is a product that will killl nutsedge- but it has to be put on before the summer solstice or all you are doing is giving it a drink. That is per the UNL extension people. There are little thingies that look like very mini potato tulbules on the roots, which stay behind if you pull mature nutsedge- and every one of those mini thingies start a new plant.
