Genealogy has helped me realize I’m descended from a bunch of long lines of hardworking poor nobodies.

That’s why I was born in America.

It would still be nice to bicycle or otherwise tour through the various old stomping grounds of my many and varied ancestors. Someday, maybe. :’)

Oh, and when you get the castle, you do realize that you’ll get a knock on the porticullis some evening, and when you open it up to see who it is, you’ll be bum-rushed by a big crowd of FReepers. They’ll bring their own booze, leaf, and firearms. Par-tay!

Now that sounds like a super idea! What I thought you might have said instead is; 'such-and-such' culture held that land before your Scots ancestors so don't bother unpacking. LOL
