I was hoping, too; there were several things in their favor. The university hasn’t yet announced whether they’re giving up yet. It just doesn’t look good at this point.

Click here for the latest (June 22) update on the official opinion on the Toomer's Oaks. The experts aren't giving up on them yet and are seeing signs of hope (at least, that is what I heard). The trees looked bad to my non-expert eye.

I agree - I made a quick trip over to Auburn on Monday to take food to my son - the weakest one looks worse than it did the time I was there and met you. BUT - if these trees could survive anywhere in the world - it will be there .... the brightest horticulturists and they are being prayed for by many, many people.....

No. I knew about the photo op for about a week. But I was sworn to secrecy! Someone was doing publicity photos with the trophy at landmarks around Auburn. So, Toomer’s employees got a special opportunity. I wasn’t invited; can you imagine! LOL!

Prayers are continuing about the other matter.

I know you’re following the case closely. I saw that the defense rested w/o putting the mom on the stand. That, to me, was a no brainer. Hopefully, closing arguments will be made soon and it will go to the jury.

THE trial.... I've been following as my Internet allows... what a shabby defense! I cannot imagine anyone on the jury believing their outrageous theories...but since OJ - we must believe anything can happen.

Casey's facial expressions when her poor father was brokenhearted on the stand should tell the jury all they need to know about her character... I hope the upcoming 4th doesn't negatively impact the ability of the jury to do the right thing. (ie - the majority giving in to one “hold out” because they want to go home).
