The author of the best-selling "Where's the Birth Certificate? The Case That Barack Obama Is Not Eligible To Be President" charged today the resignation of White House counsel Bob Bauer is the result of his participation in the release of Barack Obama's "Certificate of Live Birth," which he fears would not stand up to the scrutiny of any serious investigation by the FBI, Congress or the media.
Corsi believes Bauer "felt compelled" to resign because of the growing substance to worries that the eligibility issue will blow up into a full-scale investigation.
"Bauer sent Perkins and Coie attorneys to Honolulu to pick up from the Hawaii Department of Health what he believed would be two certified copies of Obama's 1961 long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate," Corsi said.
"When the White House released to the public the birth certificate in the form of a PDF computer file obviously created on Adobe software and a Xerox copy, Bauer realized the Hawaii DOH had participated in the fraud," Corsi charged.

Bauer will also resume being Obama’s personal attorney!
Bauer was previously the point man for defending Obama against all eligibility legal actions and it is obvious that he will resume this role.

I don’t buy Corsi’s claim that Bauer must have believed that Barky had a valid long-form Hawaiian birth certificate.
Bauer was leading up the effort from Barky’s position to keep from having to show proof of eligibility in the dozens of court proceedings. Many of these cases dealt with novel questions of constitutional standing, and I’ll bet Barky’s old buddy Larry Tribe of Harvard law school was involved and paid behind the scenes.
Waiving the ethics rule for Bauer is bullshite. If he didn’t want to be subject to the government post-employment ethical restrictions, he shouldn’t have gone into the government where we taxpayers paid his salary. He should have stayed as Barky’s or the campaign’s personal lawyer, and being paid NOT on our dime.
From the waiver of the ethics rule:
“Such a result would be inconsistent with the purposes of the Ethics Pledge, which did not contemplate the situation in which the personal lawyer to the President enters government service as an advisor to the President.”
Transparently bogus rationale. Louis XIV was a model of propriety and equal standing before the law compared to Barky and his criminal gang of Marxist thugs.
Also, Barky needs to reimburse taxpayers for the cost of the DOJ for their involvement defending these eligibility suits, because the question of eligibility arises out of matters before he took office and not his official acts.
That's pretty much what I thought, after seeing those "Certificate" images released by the White House and comparing them to the two legit Nordyke certificates. I call it a "confection" after the word used by Professor Edward Tufte to describe a pastiche of a graphic image.
If the birther issue was foremost in his mind, he would not take on the other massive duty as well IMO.
Bauer should be charged with Treason, along with the entire group over at Perkins Coie IMO. ALL of em.

I agree, and I bet the FBI took that birth certificate Corsi gave them and tossed it into the garbage. I would be surprised if this goes anywhere.

Corsi needs to prepare himself for what is about to erupt from left field. Plugs will soon resign ‘for health reasons’, Hillary will be appointed the VP slot, then in 2012, perhaps in January or February, maybe even sooner, barry the bastard boy will resign, HIllary will pardon him to stop the SEIU and ACORN riots, and she will then run for the 2012 presidency. You may not have heard it here first, but I’ve been conjecturing this since 2009. Watch for Plugs to have a ‘medical emergency’ and then resign as veep.
There was much speculation that one of the reasons the eligibility issue was not covered was due to fears of riots in numerous major cities if Mr. Dunham were to be found ineligible.

Strangely even some liberals I know suspect that zero’s poll numbers over the BC are what caused him to take out Bin Laden. In fact, circulating among the left is a rumor that it is common knowledge in that part of the world that OBL had been taken out months ago.
What a bunch of nonsense. Bauer is leaving to become general council of Obama's 2012 campaign. This is just another silly claim from Corsi and WND. This birther stuff will continue going exactly nowhere.

Ahh, yeah, but a quick glance shows the book has sunk to #143 on Amazon already. The further it falls, the more hysterical the claims I expect we'll hear from Corsi and Farah.
Bottom line is birther conspiracies will play absolutely no role in defeating Obama in 2012. The entire election will turn on the economy and probably very little else.
