In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".

Great word! In the spirit of GlocktheVote's sentiment, how about a FR day that is free of the wiener jokes and obama trashing to remember D-Day, June 6 and the "refulgent" men and women of the United States of America Armed Forces?

To all FReepers who have served in the armed forces of America to keep our freedom, THANK YOU AND GODSPEED!

Re Weiner: Let’s shed light, refulgent
On this putz, who is so self-indulgent
He’s such a phony and fake
He used a carrot to make
His underwear look like it’s bulgent

Sorry, Dave, but this refulgent is bout the easiet nut to crack on a big hickory tree.
Refulgent is contraption of and opposite of indulgent. You can say in all school bought words, I refuse to be indulgent or that you’re refulgent.

Now I’m not sayin those others are wrong on account of using words like this makes a person sound right smart and bright! Yours, Milo Price, Esq., Editor and Notary Public.
