Now under the group’s leadership of former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and one-time EU vice president, Viscount Davignon, the aim is purportedly to allow Western elites to share ideas.

Enough to make it clear that we should question all of this.

I’ll ask Rick Perry what goes on there.

Hillary will be there with Huma. Bill will probably be there, too. I doubt Weiner will be in attendance.

why does the same set of people continue to be billionaires, never to be affected seriously by the worlds depressions, only to come out with more money and more power, and why does it seem that all elections seem to be calculated and fixed, as if the outcomes were already determined?

So they gather together, and gain nothing out of it? These are just social clubs? THAT is what strains credulity. That the class that seeks the highest levels of wealth and power through governmental policy,,, would never coordinate their efforts. This writer can’t be serious.

PS,,, for extra credit, describe an era when the power elite was NOT involved in schemes to consolidate and expand their power.

But wouldn’t it be more alarming if the world is not ruled by anyone, and is spinning out of control?

That’s why these theories are so appealing.

It’s common sense. If some goombahs can organize trucking, unions, prostitution, drugs, gambling, etc, we’re supposed to think the leaders of the world can’t organize? Puhlease. Anything the mafia can do, the elites of the world can do.

the aim is purportedly to allow Western elites to share ideas...Part of the reason for alarm is the group's secretive working methods. Names of attendees are not usually released before the conference, meetings are closed to the public and the media, and no press releases are issued.

The public has every reason to feel both fear and suspicion of elites meeting secretly to "share ideas." The U.S. is supposed to be a democratic republic but as events of the past couple of decades have shown, elitist notions like Agenda 21 are imposed quietly behind our backs with no public notice or vote. The Constitution is under relentless attack as the elites maneuver to gain undemocratic dictatorial power.

What constitutes a conspiracy? We certainly have a group of elitists gathered together to plan something. Is that something harmful or illegal? That would be my guess. I have the same thoughts about administrative meetings at the White House. Conspiracies happen.

I didn’t take this group seriously until I saw that Prince Charles was once an attendee.

Now they MUST be taken seriously! Wow!

You are right there is no conspiracy at all, even though it’s in their own writings...

Governments ONLY have the BEST intentions for all of us. After all History proves this over and over again. Even the Founding Fathers trusted government.

Government is good and you should NEVER ask it any questions. If you do, then you are a conspiracy theorist.

(sarcasm off)

Now if you can’t trust a fix, what can you trust? For a good return, you gotta go bettin’on chance, and then you’re back with anarchy. Right back in the jungle.

You got that drop dead correct. I’ve been studying the “connections” of these people and it’s truly amazing the extent to which they have their tentacles into every major bank, central gov’t bank and hundreds of non-governmental organizations and not-for-profits. Tides Foundation, Ford Foundation, Council on Foriegn Relations, you name it. This is how the NWO works out it’s agenda.

I wish the word “elite” didn’t now mean what it means. I used to be an elite cyclist. Some would say I was an elite student in certain disciplines. My sister was an elite swimmer.

Oh well.

People like to believe in cabals because such belief reduces the amount of thinking they are required to do.
