I've read here on FR, that there are fans of this show, so I thought I'd give a heads up that Netflix now has seasons 1 through 5 up for streaming.
Any opinions of the show would be of interest to me..should I bother or does 5the show ctash and burn at some point?
Well Oscam’s Razor would seem to narrow it down to Netflix and not every post office in Memphis. If they can deliver it to my house in one day, then I am sure it works the other way around.
I will cancel June 23, when my renewal come up. You have convinced me not to wait to July. I hate it since they used to be a great resource, but now they suck for me.
Except for Netflix to do it they’d have to do things that leave a paper trail that will get them in trouble if somebody decides to sue. Where as the PO would just have to have the person in charge of your region decide on a new procedure (like storing up netflix envelops until they make a full tray just as an idea) that probably makes their life easier but sucks for you. This wouldn’t effect outbound from netflix because like all bulk mailers netflix brings their stuff in area code sorted trays already. Because they are a bulk mailer and you aren’t the paths the mail takes are actually vastly different so one day out and four back could easily happen if the PO decides to do something annoying to none bulk mail headed to a specific location.
That makes no sense. It is Netflix. Why keep making excuses for the company. I am sure it doesn’t take a week to get a full tray (LOL).
It makes plenty of sense. Remember the PO is going broke, they’re looking for all kinds of ways to reduce costs, and they’re incompetent. You said 4 days, who knows how many people in the area are chucking in the netflix in 1 PO. And remember that was just a stab, admittedly a stab that involved something I’ve seen the PO do before to companies getting large quantities of inbound mail. It’s not excuses, it’s showing that there’s simply no reason for them to be persecuting you. You’re assuming it’s some sort of personal vendetta, I always remember what ass-u-me means, and reality has shown me that most of us are far too insignificant for anybody to be actually out to get us and most vendettas only exist in the head of the “persecuted”. I think you’re having a spot of postal bad luck and if you checked around you’d find you’re not alone and netflix might even be aware of it and trying to fix it. But if you want to be persecuted go ahead, needlessly add to your life stress, whatever.
Of course, I think Firefly was the best Whedon show ever.
You must work for Netflix with all the excuses you make for them. No one else I mail to has this problem. I do not have this problem with mail coming to me from netflix or anyone else.
Been a customer for years and it did not start till I cut back from 6 at a time to 4 at a time, then started then immediately. How many coincidences do you believe in?
It is plainly obvious, who is the problem but feel free to defend them if you wish. I will be an ex-customer come Jun 23. And you are right about the stress, I won’t have any more from netflix starting Jun 24.
Yeah I hate the other witch, just a terrible actress, always looks like somebody just kicked her dog. But by and large good shows.
Nope, I’m in fax software. I just think that in this day and age, just 2 weeks after a big report came out saying that the PO’s cost cutting measures not only don’t cut costs but do reduce the quality of service assuming that it MUST be netflix risking getting their ass kicked in court again is a dumb assumption.
It isn’t plainly obvious at all. Again why would they risk getting sued to punish you for reducing how much less than their average customer you’re paying? What do they stand to gain by persecuting you? See if it was plainly obvious you’d have answered that question already. Instead you’re attacking me, if it was plainly obvious you wouldn’t have to turn to the logical fallacy of poisoning the well. What is plainly obvious is that things are more complicated than you’re willing to admit and sometimes feces really does just occur.
Good humor, good characters (even as a dyke Willow is cool, needed better taste in girls), good stories. One of the hallmarks I think was Joss always wanted them to try harder. I’m thinking specifically of the episode Hush, after hearing so much praise for the great dialog and how that’s why the show is great Joss decides they should do an episode with basically no dialog, and they wind up with probably the best episode of the season one of the best of the show. Taking praise as a challenge is a good trait, and it allowed the shows to constantly grow.
Was Hush the one with those creepy looking guys that glided everywhere?
Yep. Great episode.
